Terms of Service

Midas Nights (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides buff butler entertainment services for private events across Scotland and the north of England, including hen parties, birthdays, corporate events, and other private gatherings. These terms apply to any booking, enquiry, or gift voucher purchase made through midasnights.co.uk.

A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event date. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received and you receive a confirmation email with a booking reference. Prices listed on the website are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

The £100 deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, no further charge applies beyond the deposit. If you cancel within 14 days of the event, the full balance remains payable. We will always try to accommodate rescheduling requests where possible — contact us as early as possible if your plans change. If we have to cancel a booking for any reason on our end, you will receive a full refund including the deposit.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed against any Midas Nights package. Vouchers are non-refundable, non- transferable for cash, and cannot be exchanged once purchased. If the chosen package costs more than the voucher value, the difference must be paid at the time of booking. Any unused balance does not roll over beyond the expiry date.

All guests attending a Midas Nights event must be aged 18 or over. The lead booker is responsible for ensuring that everyone present meets this requirement. Our performers reserve the right to leave (without refund) if anyone under 18 is present at the event.

Our performers are professional entertainers and are to be treated with respect at all times. Any inappropriate physical contact, verbal abuse, harassment, or behaviour that makes our staff feel unsafe will result in the immediate termination of the booking with no refund, and may be reported to the police. Our performers reserve the right to refuse any request they consider unsafe or outside the scope of the booked package.

Your package details (duration, activities, number of butlers, etc.) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Unless explicitly stated, packages do not include food, drinks, travel beyond the agreed area, or materials for activities that require them (for example, cocktail ingredients may be provided or charged separately depending on the package). Any add-ons are priced separately and confirmed in writing before the event.

We operate across Scotland and the north of England. Travel costs may be added for events outside our standard service area — these will be quoted and agreed before your deposit is taken. You are responsible for ensuring the event venue is safe and accessible and that you have permission from the property owner or venue for the booking to take place.

Guests may take photographs at the event for personal use only. Filming or photographing performers for commercial purposes, or sharing images of them on social media without consent, is not permitted. If a performer asks you to stop filming or to delete an image, please respect their request immediately.

Midas Nights is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during an event that is not directly caused by the negligence of our performers. We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (for example, extreme weather, illness, travel disruption, or force majeure). Our total liability for any claim arising from a booking will not exceed the total amount paid for that booking.

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
